Having expanded rapidly in Asia over the past three years ‒ to Beijing, Tokyo, Singapore and Shanghai ‒ Morgan Lewis & Bockius has now solidified its presence in Hong Kong through an association with Luk & Partners, a local law firm advising a large range of multinationals and financial institutions, notably in corporate, capital markets and private equity matters.
This year to date, Morgan Lewis’ China team has closed five IPOs in a diverse set of industries. These include a $180 million IPO on the Hong Kong exchange. "This exciting development continues our substantial commitment to Asia," Morgan Lewis Chairman Jami McKeon stated. The association deal has been approved by the Hong Kong Law Society.
