Asset management company La Française has launched a new office in Seoul, South Korea and entrusted Shawna Yang as Investor Relations Director for Asia.

Following Hong Kong and Singapore, the Seoul office will be La Française’s third office in Asia. Considering the importance of South Korea as a source of outward bound capital, the opening of the new office is aimed at capitalizing on the group’s established client relationships in the country and strengthening its operating platform across the region.

Mrs. Yang has extensive experience in fundraising, after having worked as a real estate fund manager at Mirae Asset Global Investment, responsible for direct real estate investment transactions in Korea, India, and Hong Kong, and then as head of the Capital Markets division for Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) Korea, assisting Korean investors in cross-border investments as well as foreign investors investing in the Korean real estate market.

Established in 1975, La Française has 530 professionals and offices in Paris, Frankfurt, Geneva, Greenwich (CT), Hong Kong, London, Luxembourg, Madrid, Milan, Seoul and Singapore. Operated under a multi-affiliate business model around four core activities: securities, real estate, investment solutions and direct financing, the group manages €53 billion in assets.
