One of the largest firms in Chile has expanded its operations.
The Chilean law firm Guerrero Olivos announced on April 17th the expansion of its collective bargaining and labor litigation team, by absorbing the boutique law firm Estudio Garcia de la Pastora, specialized in the aforementioned practices.
Mrs. Rocio Garcia de la Pastora is an attorney and an undergraduate and graduate professor at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, teaching labor law and litigation. Mrs. Rocio Garcia will join Guerrero Olivos as the leader of the labor practice.
The law firm also welcomes Mr. Sergio Fuica, specialist in labor and constitutional matters, who also works as a professor at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, teaching constitutional and political law.
According to a press release issued by the firm, “Guerrero Olivos announced that the above absorption was focused on strengthening a relevant practice area for its clients, including the design of legal strategies to facing the new challenges of the recently enacted labor reform in Chile.”
