UK law firm, Fieldfisher continues its expansion in Italy with the opening of its fifth office in the country. Through strategic partnership the firm is determined to become a leading influence in the Italian legal market.
While other international law firms are closing, such as McDermott Will & Emery in Rome, Fieldfisher strengthens its Italian network. The firm offers a unique presence in the market with offices in Milan, Rome, Venice, Turin and most recently in Bologna. The new office is led by Gianvincenzo Lucchini, a corporate partner from Lucchini Gattamorta & Associates (LGA) and Andrea Gattamorta, specialist in dispute resolution. In Italy, Fieldfisher has 210 lawyers and accountants offering services in banking, corporate, compliance and commercial, employment, data protection law and tax litigation, transfer pricing and planning.
Executive partner of Fieldfisher in Italy, Giusi Lamicela, said "Since our merger, we've had substantial success in promoting our European offering to our clients and working with our colleagues across the network. We choose Bologna as our next office because of its strong industrial and commercial history.”
