Abax, a firm specializing in investment structuring, has reinforced its position in the African market with the opening of a new office in the Ivory Coast.
Abax is an international provider of corporate management and advisory services, focused on delivering business solutions to multinationals and private equity funds investing in Africa and Asia. In addition to their core expertise of structuring and administering cross-border investments, they provide a wide range of services related to technology, to corporate finance advisory, private wealth management, outsourcing and corporate immigration.
The Abdijan office will be the firm’s fourth in the continent. Headquartered in Maurititus, the firm also operate from South Africa and Kenya. Globally, Abax have offices in London, Singapore, and Dubai. Abax hopes that the new Ivory Coast location will not only better serve their existing clients, but also allow new businesses, particularly those in France and Europe, a convenient point of entry into Africa.
Anjeelee Chinamal, a chartered accountant with extensive experience working as a business developer, will head the management of the Abidjan office. Second-in-command will be Laurent Chabrut, a specialist in economics and communication. The focus of Chabrut’s work will be the investment potential between Africa and Europe.
