Bertrand Geradin Joins Ogier Luxembourg as Head of Corporate Practice


Ogier’s Luxembourg office welcomes Bertrand Geradin as Head of Corporate Practice. With over 15 years’ experience at law firms in Luxembourg, Brussels, London and Philadelphia, Mr. Geradin is a specialist in corporate law, M&A, private equity structures and transactions including management incentivization, as well as group reorganization, and also has significant experience in the setting up of investment vehicles.

 

Mr. Geradin’s appointment is one of three recent recruits hired to further strengthen Ogier’s onshore international offering. The other two appointments are Julia Journée, who joins as a senior associate in the banking and finance team, and Bernard Elslander, who joins as an associate in the corporate and commercial team.

 

Ogier provides legal advice on Luxembourg, Cayman, BVI, Jersey and Guernsey law, and its network of locations also includes Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo. Established in 2012 by founding partners Francois Pfister and Daniel Richards, the Luxembourg office has grown into a 25-strong team, including five partners, and acts on behalf of investment fund managers, banks, corporate and institutional clients based primarily in London, Continental Europe, East Asia and North and South America.
